Well, since leaving Nordkapp last week the trip down through Sweden was quite depressing. It was bitterly cold, raining, all tourist places were closed and we struggled to find campsites that were open so we ended up free camping quite a bit.
The urge to see "something" drove us further and further south until we finally ended up in Sundsvall which is on the coast in the east of Sweden. Having travelled for 300 - 400km a day for the past 14 days, we felt rushed, tired, irritated and just generally "under-the-weather"
So..... the decision was made to hang ten, slow down and take a breather which we have done and so we've been just chilling here in Sundsvall for the last 3 nights. The campsite has been great and we even found a place that would refill our german gas bottles (believe it or not, every country has a different gas bottle system)
So here just a few impressions of our trip down south ;-)
The troll in the Nordkapp Cafeteria
Jam comes in Sausages
Timm has no Idea how the cat got stuck in the roof vent
One campsite we visited (Jokkmokk) was AMAZING incl. a by the lake wood fired Sauna
