We parked about 8km outside of the city centre and then cycled the rest visiting some of the major tourist attractions
From there on, off to the Airport we went to pick up Lisa (my cousin). The plan was to put another 150 odd km underneath our belt so we wouldn't have to drive so far the follwing days and in hindsight it was a good plan.
Along the way we had a swim in Lake Geneva and another run-around thanks to Diane, our GPS.
She sent us up a steep alpine road only to then reach a junction where the warnsing sign said 24% gradient!!
At this point it was starting to get dark and there was no way in hell I was going to take Felix up some hair raising, steep roads. So back down into the valley we drove and this time went round the mountain up the proper signposted way.
Gryon is a little ski-resort perched on top of a mountain and the view is absolurely breathtaking. Pity we didnt stay around long enough to enjoy it as we departed before 8am the next day
