Catch Up

Well, I was planning on staying up to date as we got closer to our departure but ended up being so busy with planning and getting things organised that I just ran out of time. So here is a quick catch up....

Work wise we finally closed the office on friday afternoon after having undergone our last inspections and verifications due for this year - 5 different authorities and organisations in 2 weeks is not bad! Murphy added his last little kick in on Friday morning when we got a letter stating that Timm was due for a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Audit - not necessarily a difficult thing but just involving a laborious process and lots of paperwork. But, we got it done! The email went out this morning. 

House wise I was slowly but surely getting stuff sorted, organising keys for Marshall etc and generally preparing for our long stay away. Funnily enough I also had to look ahead - our Snowboarding Clothes / Equipment needed to be sorted and packed so Timm can bring them along from one of his return trips...

Last week Monday Ozzy the Horse moved to his new Yard where he will be ridden and looked after until he is sold. Big relief as I know he is in good hands!

Patches the Cat was dropped off with my Parents last night and she will now enjoy her time with Mikesch until our return. We are going to miss our fluff-bucket!!!

With regards to the "Mel Attention Rankings", Timm is very proud to have moved up the ranks into the No. 1 spot, having occupied No.3(4) previously behind the horse and the cat(s). 😝

Last meals were held with the family ( I cant believe we didn't take a picture?) but luckily I did take a picture this morning with Timm and his mom.

Now we're sitting in the BidVest Lounge waiting for boarding. See you on the other side.
