We arrived this morning in Munich at 9:30am and by 10:30 were out of the building heading towards Germany's biggest Motorhome Dealership ("Der Freistaat"), sure in the knowledge that by this evening we would have narrowed down our selection to a select few vehicles with final choice being done by tomorrow, latest Wednesday.
Oh boy, how wrong (and naive) we were.
I am sorry to say we did not find a single vehicle. Not because we didn't like them but because ALL OF THEM (except for 1) were out of our budget. And I mean way out.
So by lunchtime we had to devise a Plan B. Thanks to mobile.de (Germany's version of Autotrader) we had chosen a few surrounding dealerships and were on our way to viewing some more vehicles. And in viewing, Timm and I have quickly learnt to change our plans, be open to new ideas and layouts and we are slowly muddling our way through.
I am now typing this blog entry from my hotel room, completely exhausted but about to dive back into the web to concoct a battle plan for tomorrow!
May Day 2 bring us some sucess :-)
