Backtracking to yesterday, we collected our e-bikes from the bike shop just before lunch and took the train / rode back to the dealership to pick up the motorhome.
I was never going to consider these bikes (clown bikes as Timm calls them) but let me tell you something - they rock! They are as comfortable as a big bike, they fit into the back of the motorhome (no theft) and average cycle speed is around 25km/h without breaking a sweat!
4pm was the handover time for the vehicle, 6pm is when we left the yard, 8pm shopping time and we had packed everything int / set up house by 10:45pm. To say Timm and I were exhausted was an understatement. In fact, i was so tired that I took my contact lenses out, put them in the container and left them - only to find two dried up lenses in the morning :-(
A few last items were then bought at the big Camping Shop where we had spent the night in their Car Park and we were on our way direction Barfelde
The GPS was set to "Scenic Route" and off we went, covering about 250km today.
We are now set up at a campsite in a little village called Scheinfeld and about to attend the local celebrations of their 600 year existance.
Or not, maye I'll let Timm sleep :-)
