Budapest

Campsite: Arena Camping (Budapest, Hungary)

Well, we have arrived in Budapest and the first impressions is that it is quite loud and dirty. But having said that our Campsite, pretty much in the city centre, is a hidden gem! The entrance looks like a scrap yard but once you drive through to the back it is very cute.

The reception was incredibly organised - you get a printout with wifi details, applicable bus / metro connections, where the closest shops are etc. as well as tourist information on what to see.
Seeing that today is Sunday, the local shops were closed so we braved the public tramsport system and headed further into town to a bigger shopping centre where we also got a SIM card as the wifi at the campsite doesn't work.

All went well although I must admit that I'm completely lost when it comes to the hungarian language - french, swedish, danish, all of the basics I could kind of decipher but hungarian, not a chance.

Fuel theft might be a problem?

So tomorrow is the official tourist day - can't wait as we have interesting stuff planned!!
