Today must have been one of the most relaxing Sundays we've had in a long time. Leaving our Campsite this morning, we started our journey back to Ljubljana but stopping at the famous Lake Bled.
Lake Bled is THE tourist attraction in Slovenia (after, before, equal to the Postoljana Caves) and we weren't dissapointed. We found a parking lot, unloaded the bikes and headed onto the path which (apparently) goes all the way round.
We didn't get far though as the Rowing Boat Rental place caught Timm's eye.... So off the bike, into a boat we climbed and headed direction.....
.... Lake Bled Church. A church on an island in the middle of the lake. Isn't this magical?

Me smiling. What you are not seeing is Timm sweating while he's rowing us across the lake :-)
The church
Legend say's that in order to secure a succuessfull marriage, the groom has to carry his bride up the 99 stairs leading to the Church. I tried to hint but for some reason Timm's hearing capabilities diminished in that moment ;-)
Back on mainland we cycled along the water's edge direction music - turns out that there was a local wine festival taking place.
This cute little guy was enjoying the tunes

These bikes are a tad older than ours!
No steps but love none the less
Arriving in Ljubljana, our Stellplatz was behind a Restaurant (very organised I might add). Highlight however were the kittens!
