Unfortunately the two sites that we wanted to visit in Budapest today were both closed / not available today (how's that for "luck"?) so we've decided to take a drive towards Slovenia, stopping over or near Lake Balaton.
The scenery down to here has been absolutely mindblowing - Autumn has arrived (amazing to see the difference between further north i.e. scandinavia and here with regards to progression of Autumn / Winter)
Rolling hills, farmlands, little villages.... all lovely and very pretty.
The campsite we're at now is just plain cute. Neat hedgerows divide each site and the wooden bridge crossing the river flowing through the property...
We arrived late in the afternoon so not much was done apart from a little bit of work and finding a spot to eat :-)
