We are now in Ljubljana and am I the only one that thinks the Tourism Marketing Manager needs to be fired? Have a look at below picture of the Tourist Brochure. How can one start your City's introduction with "although you will not find world-renowed attractions here"???
Ljubljana was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It is a small town and we could walk everywhere or take the bus (our Landlord had given us bus cards, similar to the MyCity cards we have in Cape Town). Due to the absence of our red buses, we booked a City Tour on foot and guess what? We had the tour guide all to ourselves :-)
Ljubljana's coat of arms includes a dragon (there is a whole story behind this), we tasted trademarked! slovenian sausage and got to visit the castle, all while Carmen was telling us about the history and sights.

The plan was to stay another night but we've kind of seen everything we wanted to see so onto Croatia!!!
